The first time you hear the name of this restaurant, you wonder what it is. But one thing is for sure, you won’t forget the name! ‘Pink Elephant’ is a whimsical name. A name that invokes a kindlier world in which the pace of life was more leisurely; less fast-paced and more laid-back, true to the Hyderabadi’s nature. Once upon a time meals were elaborate and put together painstakingly, with exquisite concern for each guest's preferences. And a fantastic meal is never that without the right ambience. “This is what we have attempted to recreate at the Pink Elephant,” say the owners.

The first impression that you would get on entering ‘Horizon’, is Wow! The view from the restaurant, situated on the top-most floor of the building is breath-taking, especially so in the night. The name Horizon, roof-top barbeque, fits the restaurant pretty well because you have a mostly unhindered view of the night sky and you can even see lights of descending aircrafts. The whole feel of the restaurant is suave, pleasant and breezy. I personally like the bamboos that they have used as their mode of décor and the private terrace dining option that gives a panoramic view of the city.

Nirvana means paradise, heaven, illusion and fantasy at the same time! But you will definitely not think that it is an illusion or fantasy when you visit ‘Zafraan Nirvana’! The food though is heavenly! If you are looking for a nice, quiet dinner in a exclusive space with some finger-licking, (or should we say fork-licking good food) mouth-wateringly distracting exotic food, then head straight to ‘Zafraan Nirvana’ at Lumbini Mall, Banjara Hills.

‘What you see is what you get’, is the age-old adage. But not so at 36, Chhattees, one of the newest restaurants that has opened in the growing side of Hyderabad, namely close to Hi-tech city. What you see is not what you get! You get more than what you see! Which comes as a pleasant surprise.

Imagine this! Delicious, well-cooked, succulent and absolutely divine kebabs served to you at your table. The difference here is that the yummy kebabs are not piled up in one plate and put on the table, turning cold! Instead they are served piping hot, one at a time at a speed that you are comfortable with. The waiters tune the service as per your requirements, so if you are really hungry and you want to gorge then they will serve at that speed too! You get all this and much much more at The Great Kebab Factory (TGKF).
