Mercure Hyderabad KCP Hosts Cake Mixing Ceremony

To usher in the spirit of the upcoming festival season, an elaborate cake mixing ceremony was organised at Mercure Hyderabad KCP. The environment was charged with pre-Christmas cheers and festive songs playing in the background.  Renowned singer Steve Adams played live music setting the tone for a perfect afternoon. Prominent city bloggers along with honourable women from Sanskruti Mahila Club, Socialites and Corporate guests attended the event. Spreading the spirit of the festivities, the event saw guests, hotel associates and the senior management team actively participating in the cake mixing ceremony and enjoyied the event. The guests were seen bonding over a lavish high tea and a delightful spread of accompaniments and festive delicacies. The hotel staff led everyone to the mixing table as it is a tradition at the hotel to welcome the festival season with a fruit soaking ceremony ahead of Christmas.

 

Rachana Smith Visits Singar Lifestyle Expo

The festive season is on and so will be the enthusiasm of everyone, particularly the fashion-conscious women and children. Singar put in place a two-day exclusive lifestyle exhibition in the heart of Hyderabad at Taj Deccan, Banjara Hills. Brought together by Sreedevi, Alankaranaa drew the best of customers and patrons. After all, on exhibit are works of some of the finest designers from all over the country with a handsome blend of ethnic, traditional and contemporary fashion statements that make for ever-lasting styles.

Stupendous handpicked art work, extraordinary fashion apparel, designer wear, jewellery, accessories, footwear and just about everything that a woman will proudly flaunt were all on show here. Actress Rachana Smith, who kindly consented to inaugurate the show, expressed her delight in being part of the inauguration.  A similar happiness was radiating when honoured guests actress Priyanka Raman, and yoga trainer Rina Hindocha went through the products that were on display. The collection was awe-inspiring as the workmanship was intricate.

Breeders, Vets Honoured At Pet Expo

India’s largest Pet Expo, an exhibition for Pets and  Dogs was held at Hitex recently. The city of Hyderabad and the Telangana region is emerging as a leading market and venue for all pet-related activities. The presence of market leaders Pedigree in Hyderabad is the testimony to this fact. To recognise the contribution of the people of Hyderabad in bringing acclaim to this region, The Hyderabad Canine Club and HITEX felicitated leading Veterinarians and Breeders. The breeders who were honoured include Ahmed Alam Khan, Vishal Sudan, Abhimanyu Reddy and BL Sharma. The Veterinary Doctors honoured include Dr. Muralidhar, Dr.  Y. Vasu, Dr. B. Madhusudhan and Dr. Raghavendra.

Over 350 dogs of 40 breeds competed for honours at The Hyderabad Canine Club show. In addition, the show had two days of dog sports demonstrations and competitions like Agility, Fly ball, Schutzhund, Championships and Obedience adjudged by international judges. Over 150 imported cats of various breeds were also part of the show. HyCan 17 show was a visual treat for the kids.
