100 Paintings By Blooming Buds

How wonderful it would be if children realize their interest at a tender age. But some children are encouraged by their parents, relatives or school teachers to cultivate some hobby interests so that they will act like some kind of a balm into tension-filled world and help the child realize his dreams if keen. The State Gallery of Art, Madhapur, has always been encouraging children to take up drawing. In the first week of August, the photo exhibition titled, Buds, children’s Art Exhibition was held. An Arts teacher Anandita organized a two-day exhibition of paintings done by children in the age group of five to 12 years from different schools. Breaking away from tradition, the exhibition was inaugurated by the children only.

Eleven students of different schools had exhibited 100 paintings. Children, who participated in the exhibition, included Alivia Das, Ananya, Laasya Bachu, Debadattan, N.Pratyusha, K.Rajan, Niharika, Shreya Krishnan, and Shrija. The young children had done wonders. They could give a tough competition to some upcoming artistes.
